Our "Health First" Protocol

As we welcome you back to the San Antonio Corfu Resort, we are committed to providing you with a safe environment that aligns with the best in class certified health protocols for working to defeat COVID-19.

Conformed to the rules and hygiene standards of the World Health Organization (WHO), recommendations of experts in food and water safety, disease control -infection prevention strategies, and hotel operations according to the Greek state protocols, our new plan is redefining our cleaning and sanitation procedures, as well as the hotel services.

San Antonio’s high standards of health and hygiene are all firmly in place at our departments, and we remain alert to advice, from health experts and government authorities, adapting our practices accordingly.

Starting with our public spaces, extensive cleaning practices are in place to provide the best possible protection against potential Covid-19 viruses. Special attention is placed to sanitize all public contact points, such as elevator buttons, reception counters, door handles, and other high frequency “touch points”. Hand sanitizing stations are installed in all public areas and physical distancing is implemented.

Guest rooms are deep cleaned and disinfected with hospital-grade aerial surface disinfection machine and fabric surfaces (e.g. furniture upholstery) will be cleaned with a steam appliance. Each room undergoes a thorough A/C cleaning and disinfection between every Guest change.

Our staff will try to keep entering guest rooms to the minimum. Therefore, on arrival you can choose whether to allow room-cleaning service every second day or avoid it at all. Do not worry though, we will resupply you with all essentials immediately on your request!

Measures in food & beverage, include restaurant capacity reduction, enabling ample social distancing, extension of the operating schedule of the restaurant, for the rotating attendance of the visitors, upgraded a la carte menus to replace buffet options, deep sanitization of all equipment and measures compliance by all staff.

All the above measures- and plenty more behind the scene- will be based on your cooperation with our staff, who is thoroughly trained on this care plan and the special hygiene protocols.

We understand that our delayed opening may cause disappointment for those due to stay with us this April, May and June, so we invite you to arrange your new travel dates by contacting our Reservations department on or via your travel agency.

  • For all the affected reservations in April, May and June, guests are being offered the same Early Booking Discounts, Repeaters Discounts, Special Offers and Benefits applied to their previous bookings when rebooking for Summer 2020 or 2021.
  • Moreover, our official 2021 rates are already available at the same rates as in 2020 until further notice, giving you more time to plan your new trip.
  • For guests who have booked directly with us and do not yet have new dates in mind, we will provide a “credit voucher” to the value of your deposit for use against bookings until October 2021 (18 months from the issue date).
